Spence Engineering Limited is a family run business, founded in 1961 and incorporated as a limited company in 1971.
Positioned at the upper end of the market, Spence Engineering Ltd manufacturer's high quality Excavator Buckets for machines ranging from, 1 to 75 ton and excavator related equipment.
Repairs and Maintenance
The Company is also sole distributor of Bucket wear parts in Ireland for a Norwegian company KVX LLC. KVX are a well known manufacturer of premium quality wear parts, particularly suitable for abrasive applications such as quarrying.
In addition to manufacturing we carry out general repairs and maintenance to excavators Buckets and equipment. We have a large experienced team of engineers in house, qualified for all types of refurbishment in quarrying, construction, agricultural, logistics and many other industries.
Line Boring & Hydraulic Ram Services
We offer a line boring service, in-house or on-site, which enables you to refurbish existing bushes without removal, when bosses have become elongated, building up and bringing back to original size. Capacity of line boring ranges from 50mm - 500mm.
We also manufacture all sizes of hydraulic rams to customer requirements and with a large range of hydraulic tubing, chrome rods, hydraulic cylinder seals 'O-Ring in stock enables us to repair existing rams.
Abrasion Resistant Steel Base Plates
We also offer a wide range of wear plates and base plates manufactured from abrasion resistant steel (XAR 400) from sizes ranging from 3mm to 80 mm.
XAR 400 can be fabricated into any components or supplied in plate form, utilised in applications such as tipper bodies, cutting edges, crushing material and excavator bucket.
